MINDS AND INTELLIGENCE FEST
One will, perhaps, never understand how brilliant, how excellently integrated the fabrics of human mind is until we digress, at least a bit, from the contractions of academics. The Minds and Intelligence Fest is one of such programmes that bring out the best in our students.
The Fest featured three indoor games: Chess, Scrabble, Monopoly etc
MONOPOLY
Most students in the commercial department and the juniors who are eyeing the business world gathered round the Monopoly boards making important decisions of when to buy and sell, negotiating and haggling prices, rolling the dies and longing cum praying that they turn favourably etc
SCRABBLE
The Art students and the finest spellers trooped to the neatly arranged tables of scrabble boards each longing to be the winner of the competition. One after the other they were being eliminated until only two were left in the game while the onlookers learn from the future grand masters.
CHESS
The fiercest of the games was the chess. The players were mostly from the sciences with few exceptions from the Arts and Commercials. There was boys and girls, junior and senior categories. The chess was exceptionally exhausting but absolutely fascinating.
We are looking forward to a better performance this year.
